PLEASE NOTE:

The Acle Model Flying Club does not provide a reduced fee for applications made partway through the year.

However, from September 1st, applicants may apply for an extended membership that includes the remainder of the current year and all of the following year. The fee will be calculated based on the month of application, at 1/12th of the current membership fee multiplied by the number of months remaining in the current year.

To find out your membership fee for the required class.

Check the “Fees Total” column in the table above to identify the correct amount.
Look at the “Fee per Month” column in the table below. Multiply the monthly fee by the number of months remaining in the current year.
Add these two amounts together to calculate your total membership fee.

For example, a Senior class membership including BMFA membership, purchased in November, would be calculated as follows: £101.00 (initial fee) + (£4.20 x 2) (monthly fee for November and December) = £109.40.

The BMFA has announced that it will not be accepting new memberships for 2025. If you wish to apply for BMFA membership through the club, your enrolment in the BMFA will take place on December 1st 2025, at the full fee for 2026. This will grant you a 13-month membership, extending your benefits into the following year.

Flying is not permitted without BMFA membership.

1. All members agree to abide by the Club Constitution, Flying Rules & Privacy Notice.
2. For insurance reasons, all flying members must be members of the BMFA and be CAA registered
3. Please verify your BMFA membership details by logging into the Membership website at https://bmfa.azolve.com. You can also make any necessary changes to your details and download your BMFA membership card from this site.
4. All members must read and fly in abeyance of the club’s health and safety assessment.
5. A reference must be included with all payments.

Details for the Bankers' Automated Clearing Services (BACS) will be provided via email upon the approval of your membership application.

Make sure to include a reference with your name and the purpose of the payment.
